HeartScape Stress Echocardiogram
A stress echocardiogram is an ultrasound based study that compares the function of the heart at rest and with stress. In addition to the standard electrocardiographic monitoring a stress echocardiogram will provide an evaluation of regional blood flow and overall heart muscle function. A stress echocardiogram takes approximately 60 minutes and you may need to stop certain medications prior to the study. (For additional information see Patient Form section or contact HeartScape staff for further instructions).
