HeartScape Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) Services
The ABI is a non-invasive test utilizing both blood pressure cuffs for diagnosing Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD). Blood pressure cuffs are placed around segments of the arms and legs and inflated to measure segmental blood pressures. Patients should wear shorts or loose fitting sweat pants. An ABI takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes and there is no need to stop any of your regular medications.
